Associate Memberships are available for local governments, community organizations, and others. What does GRIP membership mean? GRIP is a coalition organization – GRIP doesn’t just represent its members, GRIP is our members! Who they are, the actions they take, and the activities, actions, and programs they undertake are more than the products of GRIP — they are GRIP. Join us in the great work we’re doing. Planned Gifts - A Lasting Legacy
Planned Gifts take many forms and can provide GRIP with ongoing support while securing your legacy. Planned gifts can also help you reduce capital gains taxes, provide income tax deductions, and even generate a stream of income for life. What’s more, even after you’re gone, you’re generosity will continue working towards the creation of a society where people's basic needs of food, shelter and support are met.
Planned gifts can be in the form of appreciated assets such as stocks, bonds and real property, and can take two forms:
- Direct Bequests: Designated donations directly from your estate.
- Life Income Gifts: These are gifts which generate tax sheltered income for you for the remainder of your life. These include the charitable gift annuity, charitable remainder annuity trust, or a pooled income fund. A charitable lead trust can be an excellent way to pass assets to your heirs, while providing resources to GRIP Programs for a specified term – or number – of years.
