Census 2010 Be Counted Make sure you participate in the 2010 Census by filling out the brief questionnaire that you receive in the mail. Participation is a quick and easy way to provide the federal government with the necessary information that allows them to provide the appropriate resources for the community.

The 2010 Census allows the government to accurately assess and accommodate the needs of the community by providing federal funding for things like hospitals, emergency services, schools, job training centers, and other public works projects. Census data is also used to advocate for causes, prevent diseases, locate pools of skilled workers, etc.

For more information regarding the 2010 Census, check out their web site at http://2010.census.gov/2010census/ or watch this informational video: http://www.youtube.com/user/uscensusbureau
